Mail order nitro fuel questions

For those of you that are forced to use mail order to buy nitro fuel where do you purchase it?

I am thinking about the Great Hobbies "bulk fuel buy" but I am new to the hobby and I am not sure if I need 4 gallons.

Thanks

Does anyone buy fuel via mail order / online? If so where do you purchase it from?

fuel

Where are you located. All I know abot shipping fuel is most carriers consider it a hazardous material and charge a premium on top of shipping rates to move it.

My LHS is in the process of closing down and they only have 30% car fuel and 15% Heli fuel remaining. My vehicle takes 20% to 25%. The nearest hobby store is 3.5 hour drive away. I am assuming it would cheaper to mail order rather than drive the 800KM round trip to buy fuel.

what kind of truck do you have??? running 30% wouldnt be too bad iv ran 30% in my mt2 for racing .. jest rich it a bit more then usual if you can get your lhs to truck it to you if you dont want to drive their.. and great hobbies can ship fuel but its not the cheapest thing in the world to ship!!!!

My truck is a Savage X 4.6
It looks like I am going to get the fuel from Great Hobbies as the price is better than my LHS (if I purchase 4 gallons or more).

How long can I expect this stuff to last assuming I keep it in the original un-opened container in a dark cool location?

I have read online that it should last for multiple years.

What are your thoughts on keeping fuel for a year or two before use?
