Water's pretty deep..... plane's sold!!!

I'll be honest right up front. I'm testing the waters here....

I am considering selling my CH Double Vision due to lack of flying time to devote to this airframe. I aquired the plane in a trade deal from a pattern buddy in Seattle. The plane had been assembled by him but never flown. He removed the gear from it and traded it to me. I put the plane together with a DA50 and went flying.

Here's the equipment spec:

DA50 engine - new about 1 gallon.
Chief aircraft wrap around header.
Custom muffled pipe. (nice and quiet)
Polished 3.5" spinner

Hitec receiver
Hitec 5645 dual elevator servos
Hitec 5945 rudder servo
Futaba 9202 aileron servos (4)
JR Matchbox on ailerons
All Expert HD 22 ga servo leads
JR Charge switches on main and matchbox batteries
3 batteries - 5 cell on receiver, 4 cell on Matchbox, 5 cell on ignition, all 1100 mah or better

Plane is complete and ready to fly.

The only negative for me is the amount of assembly time at the field. There are 10 screws to secure to install the cabane struts and secure the wing tubes. Not a big problem but still takes about 20 min to assemble.

I love bi-planes but not the work.....

Price is 1600.00. Add it up, the replacement cost is over 1000.00 more. Shipping will be about 150.00 if I have to crate it and put it on Greyhound.

Thanks,

Paul

Send them back! With a plane like that, that isnt easily repairable and a lot of money you dont wanna take any chances!

I have a bunch of 9351's...I believe the new ones should be the latest version...but would have to clarify that with Futaba directly. I personally dont have any issues with them. I never had issues with the early ones either though.

Can you send me a link to this thread and let me follow-up with Futaba directly about it.

Direct is easiest...
