We have come across some old motors and i was wondering where i can find a value on the internet or a book to see what they are worth any help would be greatly appreciated.

Depends how old. The most realistic place is the Model Engine Collector's Association swap sheets but of course you have to be a member to get them. Then you can check past auctions on EBAY, and if they are older than mid 1960's and American, you can cheque Anderson's Blue Book.

But value is not just the engine, but depends on the completeness, condition and wear, etc.

If you want I can help you. I know quite a bit about older engines, as it is my hobby also.

Thanks andrew ill go through the collection and see what we have i know there are a couple pace makers and a couple olsens from the thirtys we think. the olsens have the ignitions but im not sure about the pace makers.
