You keep referring to Rounds and Ivan said 7 Sequences. So 7 Sequences is only 3 Known Rounds plus the Unknown Round - Total. That sounds like 2 Known Rounds (4 Sequences) on Saturday and 1 Known Round (2 Sequences) and 1 Unknown Round (1 Sequence) Sunday. Or perhaps 3 Known rounds Saturday and just the Unknown Sunday. However I am thinking it is more likely to be the former case, we need an actual live participant to give us spectators the facts !! Still lots of flying with 45 pilots.

Re: Ocala Fl. IMAC contest
Well that was a great time.
Many thanks to Ivan and the Ocala club for welcoming the onslaught of Canadians for the week prior to the contest. Great group of people at that club. It was fun to shake the cobwebs off and get back in the air early. We were able to fly whenever the weather allowed, which was about 90% of the time! Also, the 'pineapple party house' was great, and housed up to 10 pilots at one time, during the contest weekend. The shocker was the cold temps during the weekend! Sunday was 4C in the morning! WTF! But whatever, the contest was well run and very large, with 15 in Sportsman as the largest class. Some pics below: |

Re: Ocala Fl. IMAC contest
Wow what a week!! What more could you ask for warm weather sunshine and a great flying field. I had the privlage to fly with and be coached by talented world class RC pilots, how could I go wrong.

Re: Ocala Fl. IMAC contest
Thanks for the great pictures Don, can't wait for the warm weather, ready to fire up an Extra 300 to tune an engine....got the itch! Oh and it's bad.
That pic of Rick, he doesn't look impressed being all bundled up......Florida and 4 degrees!!!!! It did get warmer later, it wasn't cold for long now was it.
