Hi All...

Have had smaller RC boats (battery) for a few years at the cottage. Better half said lets go get some real boats (Fast !) So we just bought a Spartan for myself and of course she loved Miss Geico. I have done a lot of research and have ordered mod kits for both, offset rudder kit for Miss Geico and dual cooling 5 inch rudder for Spartan. Also Pather 215 props for both. I am going to run the stock batteries to start in the Spartan and we bought a couple of 2S 30C 5300 lipo's for Miss Geico.

Any places around the GTA to run boats? Hour and a bit drive to cottage.

Should be a interesting summer ahead and a lot of fun !

Gerald

Re: Newby

Welcome to the forums, Gerald. I'm not into boats but the only one I know is the Cambridge group (Grand River link above) and the London group, but that's quite a drive for you.
