Well got our room at Canada's Best Value Inn for the spring event. At this point now got to finish getting things ready to go.
So just a thought but if there is interest in wanting to having some social night at the event maybe it should start being organized now and not having a fumble the days of the event. And no I don't want to organize it. That's up to the Princeton Club members to organize. I will definitely contribute though if people want to have a meal get together one night.

In fact I will start it off if people want to have it- I will bring buns, butter and a dessert.

Re: Princeton Jets 2016 dates

Alan,

Thanks for the suggestion.

Let's keep the list going.

The biggest issue is usually the "main course" like meat or something to BBQ.

The club can support the funding of beef, chicken or whatever we decide we need - just need enough BBQ's to cook it.

The other option would be to order/buy a bunch of pizzas delivered and then we top up with the salads, buns, desserts, etc.

Oh..... and booze..... lotsa booze.

Re: Princeton Jets 2016 dates

Sounds good Paul
I will go along with what the majority of the gang want to do. Hopefully others will add their ideas or contributions, but if people want it done there going to have to step up to the plate and come forward.

Re: Princeton Jets 2016 dates

No High School graduations (or at least none that we were informed of) so we are going to make the Spring event this year. Hopefully the weather will be better than last Fall so I can get some flying in. Looking forward to the event.

Re: Princeton Jets 2016 date

Well we got home safe and sound at 11:30 pm. Can't sleep yet anyways house is a bit hot, must have been pretty hot here as well. The truck temperature showed 36C in Vernon and a road side sign said 37C which showed a conversion of 98F. Damn hot on whatever scale you want to go by.
So would like to thank the Princeton Club for another great Spring Rally. In particular thanks to Super Bart as always doing a great job on setup, radio monitoring and liaising with the town, to make us out of towners feel so welcome. Also thanks to Paul for great assisting. Thanks Princeton club for the delicious pizzas and apps. Thanks to the ladies that helped out, because us lame guy's couldn't have got it done without you.
Jean and I wish to thank our fellow pit mates that we were kindly offered meals with and wonderful company.
I would like like to thank Bob Wonitoy and Bruce Bender for helping me with hauling the A-10 from the trailer, to my pit location and back forth many times. Other great mules were Steve, Dean, Paul and Jack. Any others I missed thanks.
Thanks Dean for doing the ultimate test pilot job as usual. Dean shows great common sense in testing someone's airplane for the first time. He makes it look like just another flight. Thanks Dean. Was glad to have Bob's opinion up on the flight line, with a masters discerning set of eyes.
To those that couldn't wait for the Sunday's maiden of the A-10 and had to leave to return home, I'm sorry I couldn't have made it any sooner, but we had to make sure it was right. We should have some pictures of it coming out in the next little while. I have no pictures myself as I was usually laying under it adjusting and checking.
So look forward to seeing all of you again either at Tofield, Whidbey or back in Princeton in the fall.

Bye for now Jean and Alan

Re: Princeton Jets 2016 dates

Ditto to Allen's comments. Great time and even managed to get my confidence levels back to pre Avanti disaster with some good Bandit flights. Even learnt some new words from the ladies.
