S-25 in a buggy

Has anyone tried a S-25(HPI) in a buggy?? I've got a Thunder tiger engine right now that I use and the specs are up to 38,000rpm and 2.1hp at 30,000. Hasn't given me any problems at all and I've just rebuilt it.

I thought I'd ask before I try to use it since it's brand new and I may have a buyer for it.

Nice hp but it seems that the RPM's don't go very high.

What would be a good replacement that's easy to tune? Johns has some Euro ones such as TOP. Has anyone tried them??? Are they worth the coin??

I've seen some of them before. I'll have to chat with Roger and see what he thinks.

I have a Wasp 28 in my TT S3. It was supposed to go into my TNX but I wasn't sure if the tranny would hold up. Then I read all the stuff about the engine not really liking the Savage so there we go. Definitly not legal for racing but it should fly well.

Well I just sold my S-25 to one of the guys looking for a new one. I guess I'll use my Thunder Tiger engine for awhile. I've always wanted to get something like a OPS,TOP, Novarossi. However I may just wait and keep an eye out rather that impulse buy. It's hard since there's so many engines out there!!! Money isn't a problem but I spent within reason.
