Which parts break the most??
Well my Savage is 4 days away by US postal and im heading to the local hobby shop for fuel, so when i get her off im going.
So my question is what parts should I get extras of?? what parts do you normally break first? I know it must depend on how you drive but regardless there must be some common parts that fine to break more often than others. Also what fuel does everyone run. Im just going to be running in the pit with my buddies no high end racing, YET!! How often do you need to rebuild engines, someone told me after every 5-6 tanks of fuel. Is this so!!! that seems to often to me but im new to this , I have been fly rc for 5-6 years and have never had to rebuild a engine, well besides that one that went into the ground.... hard!!! LOL |

Most of the stuff is the same as flying..the engine should last several gallons, just like flying.. but because ours are tuned a little more for performance, they do wear out faster..but it should be 4-6 gallons or more..not tanks..
There are a couple things that you want to do sooner tahn later, and hey are listed in a couple other threads.. Look for the savage newbies threads and stuff like that..and there is lots of info in those threads...

as far as parts that break and spares... i would get a couple of upright sets... they look like this...
depending on which part breaks you might be able to use it for the other side of the truck... you'll know what i mean when you get your truck... I would also get a couple of dogbones in case one of the four breaks... |

spurs are well known for stripping also invest in some extra lower suspension arms as well as a new steering servo and you can use the stock steering servo for thorottle which will give you more stopping power b/c the stock steering servo is hight torque but the only problem is it's plastic gears
