A dozen pilots took a chance on the weather Saturday and made the drive to Lake Rosseau.

Great photos Gary, thanks for posting. It looks like the weather turned out OK. Maybe next year I will be able to attend with my electrified Beaver.

Hi moo,

That photo is 'Buzz's CG Cub proving Balsa 'Floats' Better ! ! !
No kidding, the struts got repaired and it flew several more flights that day.

Too bad no-one had a videocam for allot of the action (5 planes up several times), especially Gary and Johnny doing very scale like tandem flybys/touch and goes(one float !) with the Cub and Beaver.(photo 2 above) It was very cool !

The 'crash' boat crew was excellent. (My newfangled "ShamWow" float system was perfect on the water, but pitch unstable in the air. Doah!SPLASH!)

I've been to quite a few float flys, and I keep enjoying every one...
And learn allot more every time...

I was barefoot and 'pitting' on the shallow beach all day up to my knees in warm water. It was cool to see all of the different projects and how well they performed. (and how many different water rudder setups there are!)

It was a Great Day. Thanks to everyone involved.
