I received these photos in an email from Mike this AM and posted them on FG. Thanks for re-posting here. This is what Mike said.

"I just got an EME 70 in my hands. Looks like a good little motor we will see how she winds up (Photo attached).
Has the same mount as the 55/60's do, has the same prop bolt pattern. Comes with Walbro carb and the HV ignition as well as the upgraded bearings. For motor, ignition, and mufflers I get 4 lbs 9 oz. For the life of me I can not find my calipers to measure plug to plug and cap to cap. But my eyeball mic says 255mm plug to plug and 265mm cap to cap. I am happy to get you any other info you want. Although price has not been determined yet I am expecting it to be at or just below the price of a DLE60 twin. It will also have an option for an auto starter so the crank has a little nipple sticking out the back of the crank. Very good idea and will probably lead to starters on bigger engines as well. (photo attached)

I am expecting a 24x10 to pull about 6700 RPM out of the box here at my elevation, we will see what we get. I am going to throw it in a 91" Extra 330SC and see how she pulls."

Re: EME 70cc Twin

I like the 140 quad idea better LOL

Who want s to add another 1 lb plus to a 60cc airframe for no reason.
Now a big Cub with this motor and an auto start would be cool

Unless they give the 35 a new cylinder with an angled plug. I can't see them casting a new head just for the 70
Ha! Brad!

Hey Guys. The 70 is having the cylinders redone. Did a little changing to add some cooling (nothing major). The big change it is getting angled plugs. So should be available with or without the starter soon. I am guessing here but I would say in the next 2 weeks. We still need to determine price but I am thinking it will be about the same ballpark as a DLE60. We will offer pre-orders when they are on the way.

See they got smart and realized there is a lot of planes out there DA missed the mark on by not having angled plugs? Good on them!
