ZN Line 35% Extra 330 S & 3WQS 106 ***SOLD**SOLD***
I just bought this plane from Sam (Samsrc) I have just got to grips with my Carden Edge, and now K.P has spent some time with me setting it up to fly some IMAC stuff (Thanks Kevin) and me putting 30 flights on it, I have decided to sell the Extra because I fly the Edge all the time now!! And love the way it fly’s, I can see no point in keeping two 35% planes, I have only flown the Extra five times, so here it is….
ZN-Line 35% Extra 330S. With a 3W-106QS motor in it, with standard Johnson exhausts "Awesome motor!" The plane is in good shape, and flies great. More info on the plane can be found on this web site at this link: http://www.samsrc.com/Extra330s.htm there is also a build thread on Sam’s site of the airplane at this link: http://www.samsrc.com/Extracontruct.htm It is also featured on ZN-lines website at this link: http://www.znline.com/produits.php?l...ata=1015575344 I bought the plane from Sam but there was a problem with the ignition, a new one was fitted, I also fitted new gear sets to the elevator surfaces. I fitted a new Rudder servo, a new Mejzlik 27X10 Carbon prop with a matching 5 inch carbon spinner. ZN Line 35% Extra, 3W QS series 106 motor, 27X10 Mejzlik prop new fitted after purchase from Sam, Mejzlik 5” spinner new fitted after purchase from Sam, Ailerons 4X JR 8411’s, Elevators 2X JR 8411’s , Rudder 1X JR 8611 Three 2400 mah lions, Three Hd switches with built in charge points, Two Regulators for the radio, Futaba 8 ch PCM RX or JR PCM 955 RX your choice, Wing bags for the wing halves Pilot and dash panel, Inflatable main wheels, Removable stabs, the picture shows it when Sam had it, it looks the same except it now has a carbon prop and spinner...... I would like to get what I have into the plane..so I'm asking for $2,700...still a steal at that price, I am as always willing to drive a reasonable distance to meet up and deliver the plane, or I could put it on the bus (greyhound) at the buyers expense, Thanks Colin. ================================================== ======= RCC Classified Quick Rules - Location & price is a must when selling RC related items. When did he find time to set this up?
And no way on earth is that cap as good as this zn line extra for IMAC at all Quote:

KP's Carden he sold to Colyn was an Edge not a Cap but I agree... an Extra is still beter for IMAC then a Edge.

Hey Randy. Kevin came out to the field on his bike a couple of Saturdays ago and I was flying the Edge, he flew it a few times with me too much elevator and rudder! It's a bit....a lot...of a brain calibration going from a 90 size glow powered model to a 35% twin anyhow the Edge fly’s better now...but notice I did state "IMAC Type flying" my piloting skills are no where near good enough to fly Imac in competition yet however I am learning!!
I feel at home flying the Edge but no so comfortable flying the Extra...and I think we can agree if you feel happy flying the plane then its going to improve your flying skills sooner rather than later I’m afraid I’m not an established enough pilot to distinguish between the Edge and the Extra as far as superior performance flying Imac maneuvers I just know I do feel confident with the basics and how the Edge feels when I fly it. Maybe in a couple of years ….if my eye sight holds out I maybe at the stage where I actually do feel the difference…but until then I going to stick to flying the Cap…ooops sorry the Edge

Colin,
You said it man... it's like golf. If you like the look of the club when you are staring down it's shaft as you address the ball then you will do better with it. By all means if you feel more comfortible with the Edge fly it for all it's worth.

The price I put is not accurate..the spinner was less than I thought, so its $3300, I could always put the Vess 27 C prop back on and keep the C.F prop and make it $3,225 if the JR RX is needed and I keep the Futaba I'll take another $75.00 off the price so $3,150.00 ...Colin.

Hey Craig, if it was a BME Edge 540 2 or 3 with a DA 50 and hitecs/JR's I would always consider a swap and some cash Colin.
