Flitemetal samples

I received a package of Flitemetal from Ed Clayman.

He sent enough for 10-15 people to try out!

I'm going to split it up for the scratchbuilders in our club.

If there's any of you that live local, in Toronto, and want a piece to test it out, , , come'on down!!

All free, courtesy of a super guy, , , Ed Clayman.

Send me a pm.
I live one block from the Keele & Bloor subway.

The stuff seems much softer that what you might get at Home Depot.
That means it should work great on difficult and tight compound areas.

Thought I would take an opportunity to give you enough to permit applying it to almost any surface. Anyone wanting a copy of the application and finishing directions send an email to wmclayman@compcast.net and I will send you a .pdf attachment of both.

Re: Flitemetal samples

Sammy, , ,

Have someone come over and I'll give him a Flite Metal sample to take back for you.

Enough to try out on the wingtips anyways.

Then you'll at least know if you should buy more from Ed.

Re: Flitemetal samples

that looks like it would be good for a scale model of my full scale plane, it's a 47 Luscombe 8A and it's all polished alum.

Re: Flitemetal samples

Hi Mike

Are you still bringing some to the club meeting?
I wouldn't mind getting a small sample.

Apparently they are looking for another place to meet. Have you heard anything at all?

No I havn't.
Unless I missed it, I didn't see anything about the location on the web site either.

I'm not driving all the way out to Buttonville Airport if it's no longer going to be there!

Let me know if you can confirm anything. Yes, I'll bring some.

Re: Flitemetal samples

I think they are rennovating the area we were in.
Maybe it will be in another section.

I'll see what I can find out from Ted.
