How many projects can a guy have on the go? Or do I stand alone in having way to many unfinished projects that fill my workshop?

On the table, a pair of plan built Red Racer models. I finished framing the wings this weekend. Had a mind to start the fuselages today, but, things got in the way.

On the go: A kit built Astro Hog, just needs covering and radio, from AD1998.
A Stahlwerk Mk. III; plan built, from AD2003.
A CG Piper Cub, kit, from AD1993.
A Sterling Stinson, kit, from AD1992
A SPAD from December, plan built from AD2009
A Guillows Hellcat, kit,from AD1980's
An Ikon n' Wst Dehavilland Beaver, kit, from AD1992
A plan built Orange Crate from AD 2008

There's a few more that I can't think of just now, but, you get the idea.

I've built and completed 20+ planes in between these; just never seem to get back to the ones mentioned.

I think they call it, Attention Deficeit Disorder. A scientific study will prove that its beer and women. I call it a pain in the "butt".

Do I stand alone, or do you guy's have a mass of unfinished business as well?

Re: The Procrastinator

If beer and women are your problem then your not too bad off afterall.
I think we are all guilty of the same problem but it's a good one to have.

I feel if a project dates back over 5 or 6 years it's time to let it go and move on to something more rewarding. I let one go yesterday

Re: The Procrastinator

You're making me feel real good, but alas, I have my share of unfinished 'stuff' hanging from the rafters. Not too mention the stack of kits that I'll never build

Hey! Hey! not so fast. I am not guilty of aforementioned problems.

What does procrastinate mean exactly?

My winter building programme.

Paint and cover my Super Skybolt (Kit, not ARF) Done.
Build two Q40 racers for some US friends. Done.
Convert a glow powered airplane to electric. Done.
Build a glider. Just needs covering.
I repaired somebodies badly damaged Citabria. Done.
Assemble (Note, not build) somebodies 150 4 stroke size ARF. it will be finished saturday.

And it is only the beginnning of February!

There are no excuses!!

Keep on like that and we are gonna kick out of the club.................when we get round to it that is.

I myself have at 10 aircraft in boxes waiting.....as well as several waiting to be fixed or upgraded.

Smile Re: The Procrastinator

I'm with Michel.

If it makes you feel good . Don't sweat it !

So far I have trimmed the under construction fleet down to 4 and one is almost finished.

As far as kits & plans, we won't go there.

The ground hogs said 6 more weeks of building ! Woo Whoo!

ENJOY !!!!!!!!

Re: The Procrastinator

I was going to join a procrastinators club but by the time I was finished procrastinating and went to join I no longer qualified!

My problem is putting my projects aside to help others!
