I set a Canadian Heat record at the 1980 Nats with a Tee-Dee .049. Open mouse race.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Question is, how much testing has been done on the new production version of the motor?

None and none!!!lmfao!!

But Doug, there was a V2 in the works when the V1 was released. He wanted to release just after the V1 was released. Smartly the US reps said NOOOOOO...they'll hang you....Is supposedly 200 rpm stronger than V1....so with onset of the first problems he can now release V2 but with the modifications that were R&D by the public in V1.

Make sense???lmao!!

All reputable engine companies I deal with have done the same if they've had an issue.!!

Yes I knew about that. The distributors told him the guys would kill him if he came out with a new version with more power right after selling a bunch of the first version which would have made them outdated with in months of buying them. Now at least with the "fix" they are getting the newer version of the motor that was never released.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

All this 180 talk is getting to me, maybe I should sell my DA200L and my 3W 210 and buy a 180?

Exactly...and with his head still attached to his shoulders!

I'd love too have V2! It'll rock the engine class even more!
