Re-gluing previously glued balsa

If you use carpenters glue to glue something and found that you glued the wrong side and were able to unclamp the pieces and re-glue them properly, when the glue on the WRONG side dries and something else needs to be glued to that side later in the construction, does it need to be sanded completely off or will the new layer of glue adhere normally to that previously-glued-but-now-dried glue??

Hope that's clear.

Actually, some builders prefer to pre-glue all the time. It is a common practice to insure a good bond. Pretend you did it on purpose! Seriously, you don't want clumps of dried glue to interfere with the mating surfaces, but if you wiped the excess glue off in the first place, you only need to assure that the surfaces mate well and then reglue (using the same glue, of course). Good luck, Dzl
