I just bought a 2.4 Brison Engine.
What a beautiful engine !
The crank case is machined aluminum with a beautiful finishing.

The new version of this engine has electronic ignition. I will test it this coming weekend and post the results.

Arthur from Cimmaster is a gentleman, he was very patient answering all my questions.

Anyone running this engine?

Brison engines are right at the top with the best of engines.

I've heard that may be going to change the cylinder a bit...Do you know if this is the case..Perhaps you could post a pic..

The reason I say this is, they say they are reviving the 4.8 twin with a new cylinder design.

Thanks Jack

I will post pictures later this week. I’m not sure about the cylinder but what I found is that the picture posted on their web site is outdated because it shows the Brison with a mechanical timing and the new one has electronic ignition. I think the new one looks much better as it has less moving parts.

This is my first time dealing with Brison and Cimmaster but I can say that their support is very good and the price is right.

I like that the crankcase is machined from a solid piece of aluminum. The total weight including the muffler and electronic ignition is about 57oz, not bad for an engine this size.

I have a Brison 3.2 and it probably runs as good or better than any 50cc on the market...It swings the props at the same RPM as the rest.

I bought mine before Brison was bought out, glad to hear they are great to deal with as I'll be getting another.
