That is cool! I wonder if there is enough interest to start a forum on Aerial Photography?

I've only done AP with my Slowstick, and an Aiptek out of the states. I love it!

Really quite cool to see what's in your neighbors yards.

Hey Oily,

No, I don't sell anything like that...and unfortunatly you have to get the stuff from the States.

The way my camera works is a switch designed by a guy named Wild Moose in California. I don't know if he makes them anymore, hooked up to a modified Aiptek digital pencam. You just hook it directly up to the RX, and flick a spare channel button, and *snap* There you go.

Some guys are going to www.draganfly.com and buying their system. This website is also another popular method that's coming about:

http://www.blackwidowav.com/

Of course, you can always do the tried and true taking a pic with a seperate servo, a piece of control rod, and using the servo to snap pics manually.

Ya I'm hoping to try video. My dream is to do a plane with 4 or more of the micro cams. And do a virtual cockpit on the ground with a TV for each cam. This will be a little big so probably would have to do the cockpit on a little utility trailer or something. I've been watch the vitrual cockpit sites for the computer flight sim guys. This would be neat. It would be nice to have foot pedals and an actual stick and stuff. But unfortunately I'm electronics challenged. So for now saving up for one plug and play vid cam/trainsmiter/reciever deal.

Bill Strong at Blackwidow is unsure about weather we can use 2.4 gig stuff up here.

I'm with you on the electronically challenged part, and I think we wouldn't have a problem with the frequency, as we are very similar to the States.

Basically, take a look at the Dragan fly one, since they are out of Saskatchewan, and do some comparing. The Draganfly one isn't so plug and play though.

I realize that Jason/the owner of this site may not like me referring people to other sites, but I glean a lot of info from RCGroups/Ezone......

I visit RCCanada to find out what's happening with the "local" boys.....

I have been into Aerial Photography and Video ( Research and production ) for quite some time now.

Just wanted to share some of my photos here as you guys are.

Here is the Ground Effect Image of the Week:

Maybe an aerial photography section could be added here on this forum.
