Re: conversion on engines

There are 62.5 cubic inches per cubic liter, and 1000 cc / liter.

Hence (1000/62.5)=(cc/cid)

Using your 2.4 cid example, cc = (1000*2.4)/62.5

cc = 38.4

Cheers.

Re: conversion on engines

Perhaps the conversion factor should be 61.02374 in³ per l?

Re: conversion on engines

Well I was always told that a 60 size glow was 10 cc. So I have always used as a rule of thumb 0.60 cu. in =10cc
Now as others have suggested it can go to 678or more decimal points. Not being a machinist and all, its accurate enough for me

Re: conversion on engines

From my experience, the best, most accessible and easiest to use os on the
Canadian Weather Network Site.

http://www.theweathernetwork.com/conversions/

I am sure that it will do everything you need it to.

My 2 cents,
NewGuy
