Re: Avro Arrow foamie EDF Conversion

Well, the day had wind and rain, then the sun came out, by mid-afternoon the wind had picked up and at 4:30 the wind has decided not to let me play. It's gusting really good so no test flight today.

So, perhaps tomorrow in the early evening which is Thursday.

Re: Avro Arrow foamie EDF Conversion

Well it's 4:40 and the wind is still blowing strong. If it dies down after supper, I'll make the troIp out and test fly the Arrow. But tomorrow night be a better bet. Even Saturday morning might be a better choice. Fortunately, I have several more jts to get ready for the season to keep me busy

Re: Avro Arrow foamie EDF Conversion

First, thank you Andre for helping Brian and I this morning, for once I got some fairly good video.

Well guys, the plane performed good this morning, bungee launch was picture perfect, the model behaved very nicely, very responsive, steady and straight when wanted and I even made a boo boo in a turn but recovery was immediate and easy. The landing was very controllable, the first one was a little fast but better a longer slide than a stall just above the ground......

Here is the link to the You Tube video. It's not refined and I somehow lost the audio during the publishing. Oh well, such is life.

Now to paint it so it's not .......pink.....

the video is set to private. I think you have to click an option to make it public.

Re: Avro Arrow foamie EDF Conversion

Hi John, glad to hear all went well.

There is a message, when I go to watch the video, and it says this video is private. Any chance you can unlock it?

Many thanks, Daren

Video is still on private mode John,

I'm glad and very happy that all went well with the maiden flight.

Can't wait to see the video and have one of these in my fleet soon....

Re: Avro Arrow foamie EDF Conversion

Sorry about that, I'm a newbie at this video stuff. I changed it to "public" and save the settings. Hopefully it took.
