I look at it this way;

The KK board is a sports car. The Naza is a luxury car.

When flying the KK board, you have to drive it, You have to manually do all the work.

I have done some of my best flying with the KK board (V1) but it was mostly skill. I've buddy boxed it with friends to fly FPV and they always lose control. It does take skill to make it fly.

In contrast, the Naza does all the work for you. Noobs Buddy boxing this have no problem whatsoever flying with me in FPV. They screw up, I say "let go of the sticks", and as long as throttle is at 1/2 stick, it just sits there.
When they totally screw up, I just tell them to flip the RTH stick and they just sit there enjoying the view while the quad comes back and lands itself

Does the KK board level itself? If the quad is tipped will it keep on it's path of travel until corrected like a single rotor heli or will it right itself? I know nothing of these but for the price I don't mind doing a bit of risky flying with it.

Re: Failures with the Hobby King KK board anyone?

I know some have had problems with the KK2 board. Due to their set up, to them not understanding how to set it, who knows. Personally I have never had a problem with the KK2 board and I take more chances with it and the 450 quad it is on due to the whole quad costing less than one Naza/GPS. I have "screwed up" several times, having to replace the quad but not the KK2, and Auto Lvl works surprising good, that is if it has time to work. Lets face it, full out at 2 feet, not even the Naza is going to help, and it didn't even hurt the bushes, the quad, well never mind.

Like Max said, one is a sports car and the other is a Luxury car.

The self level will level the multirotor as described but if there is any wind or any remaining momentum it will continue to move because it simply cannot detect that it is moving.

Just remember that this is a $20 board and it provides probably the most bang for your buck..
