Re: Post your Aircraft Pic's Here

Revy...gonna try to bring it up to your neck of the woods this summer...time I showed up there again.

Fly twice...It took me by surprise..no trim adjustments, lotsa power, and balanced almost perfectly... scratch builds from your own plans are usually good for bruised knees on maiden, but not this one..it flies like a kite...
more like a Cub on steroids, but with better ground handling manners than a cub that flight was done on throttle trim lever alone..no stick

Re: Post your Aircraft Pic's Here

747man: It sure looked like a stable flier in the video. Flying it off the throttle trim would be like flying the way it was flown back in the originals! Better on the ground than a Cub, now that does surprise me, Cubs being noted for their gentle manners. flytwice

Re: Post your Aircraft Pic's Here

This is a sorta' Hun [F-100] made of blue foam and coreplast. The fuse is basically a wide profile of 2x2" foam hogged out before laminating to a 4" wide chunk. It weighs 5 1/2 lbs with a 5s5000 LiPO and will be bungee launched. It's a bit of a proof of concept project so I didn't spend a lot of time fiddling to get it "right", just want to see if I could get something like this to fly and look reasonable at a distance. Tex.

Great Idea, you got me thinking, looks good for a quick proto type.

Try and get a video of it and post it here.
