I can't remember getting anything built without a metal lathe.
Defiantly a must have for me.

One of my favorite tools is a cable cutter. This makes a very neat and clean cut of fine strand aircraft cable up to 3/16" and piano wire up to 3/32". I is available from most full size aircraft supply houses.
