Hi All,
I am a newbie and I was hoping to get advice on which RTR to start off with. I have been looking at the T-Maxx or the savage 25. Which one do i start with. I am looking to bash it around and drive wherever. Thanks for the help.

i have been in rc for about 2 years now. and i cannot run savages. they are very loud, kind of like a lawn mower, tmaxx is a nice truck because the engine is nice and small but still powerful enough for a beginer. i would say tmaxx out of those two trucks.

remember that there is SEVERAL trucks out right now that are god for noobs. tnx, revo, tmaxx, and many more. good luck with your choice and keep us updated

You are correct on both accounts. It is way more durable for bashing..

The maxx makes a better track truck.. but for bashing.. you really can't beat a savage.. as well.. the tmaxx is OLD... as it is the original MT..
This can be good thou.. as there is a boat load of aftermarket support for it..

I would go to your hobby store and describe what you want to do.. they should point you in the riht direction... ask about which one sells the best..

My vote is savage.. the new version is awesomely strong and has most of the hneeded hopups built in.. the amxx.. can't say that at all.. start buying hop-ups and parts right away for the stock pile you will need...

Has to be Savage if it is for bashing. Lots of support at your LHS ( parts ) and check out Savage Central on the web for tech support
