Kavan window moulding -where to find
Anyone know where to get Kavan window channel moulding. I see it in the Kavan Catalogue
Stock # 0132. It's great for mounting canopies. I've been using it for years. The Kavan catalogue shows it on a page that seems to have a faded SIG manufacturing logo at the top of the page?? It doesn't appear to be in the SIG Cat. It would be great if I could find it on this side of the ocean. Maybe an old basment hobby shop might have some kicking around?? THe stuff I've been using , I've had for over 25 years. It comes in 5mtr and 50 mtr lengths. I would take whatever I could find. Thanks George C |

George, check out the GH website for Fourmost products For 133 and 134. I think it is the same stuff. Or at least close.

Re: Kavan window moulding -where to find
Terry,
I have seen these before. Not quite what I was looking for. The Kavan stuff when looked at from the end is about 3/32 diameter and looks like an "S." with a slit on one side facing down and a slit on other side facing up. You force one side over the canopy edges and lock un place with thin CA. THen you just hold down canopy in position and carefully wich in so thin CA around the rubber. Sticks great to plastic covering. Been doing this for years. If I can't get the Kavan locally I will get some from Germany. Thanks again. PS Terry I'm building another Ohio Ultimate with Sait 270 twin. Love those ultimates. Have two Goldbergs as well Take care George |

Re: Kavan window moulding -where to find
Found the window moulding. SIG carries it. It is a Kavan product but is listed in the update of the SIG Catalogue. Item # KAV 1032.--5 mtrs for $8.91
They did have a 50 mtr roll for $49.99( last one) so I bought it. If anyone is stuck for a bit I would be glad to help out. Great stuff for mounting. canopies. GC |
