       Remove this ad - become a site supporter!
i just acquired a 3.5, no problem installing, however i'm not getting instantanious responce from my control, its lagging behind, there is a mili second delay on the responce on the control . any advice ? i run a vista, my computer, is quit new.
any help would greatly be appreciated.

How good is your video card? That may be what's limiting things. Have you tried decreasing video resolution?

Brad has a point but more specifically: your overall system may not be up to the task.

MS has certain minimums for running vista-->800mhz, 512 ram, etc.

IT IS TO LAUGH!!

Forget vista, XP itself needs almost 512 to load. How they expect vista to load AND run several programs with those minimums I'll never know.

Post some details of your system and then we'll see what can be done.

Best way is to run "dxdiag" in

-->go to start, run and type

dxdiag

in that line.

Then save it to a text file and copy/paste that text file in here (it will be big but a good chunk of it is needed to assist).

finally got hold of the great planes people, and helped me with my problems, it was a simple fix.all of the options on the graphics were set to highest.
just have to bring some of them down.
