Ofna ultra lx comp upgrades?

Remove this ad - become a site supporter!
Well after a couple rounds of hard bashing, I finally broke something on my Comp. The right steering knuckle snapped and bent the front dogbone on that side as well. I'm wondering if there are aftermarket upgrades or better parts from other buggies (Ofna or otherwise) that I can use. Looking to make a bullet-proof frontend. This buggy has a long future of violence ahead of it, including the occasional confrontation with a Savage or two.
I've heard HobbyHome has a good stock of Ofna parts - true?
Thanks!

His prices are pretty good. I would get the part #'s you need and just call around first on the price and if it's in stock. Any $$ you save can get you other stuff you may want or need.

Here's some #'s of who I know have stock for Ofna's

That's great - thanks for all the info guys.
Anyone know if the CNC alum. steering knuckles for the standard Ofna 9.5 non-Violator (part# 36516) would fit? Or are they only 6mm, therefore won't fit the Comp's 8mm axles?
Are the Violator CVA's (part# 40105) any better than the Comp's CVA's?
Thanks again for all your help!

OFNA makes cnc knuckles that are a direct fit for the comp , part # 34001.
You should get a shim kit with the knuckles , part #40218.
Something else to consider if you like painting your own body shell is a comp
clear shell , part #31156. Also OFNA now has PCR cnc parts for the comp,
check out their website. With the above part numbers any hobby shop should be able to order you the parts. (All are OFNA part #)

Thanks Stranix - I'll check out those steering knuckles. Thanks for the part number! As for the shell, I've managed to mount a Crowd Pleazer for a 9.5 onto the Comp. There was some minor adjusting for exhaust, body posts and pullstart handle, but it looks good.
The PCR section is where I went first hoping to find steering knuckles. Maybe that's in the works. Beautifull stuff though - sure would like those shock towers...
Thanks again!
