Don't worry... if our wives find out it won't be long now.

Yeah, the floats are actually heavier than the FPV camera . I flew with both at the Horizon Indoor event a couple weeks back. SOOOOO much fun doing touch and goes in the "Spektrum Lake".

But, yeah, floats work great on the gym floors too. One of our guys put 4 little tail wheels from a micro plane on his floats and can take them off at will. It looks awesome!

Can you take a photo on how he mount the wheels onto the floats? I had mine setup too but I am not sure whether it will work.

Thanks

Re: Sport Cub S

I flew it earlier in our indoor flying. The wheels work pretty well.

Re: Sport Cub S

Nice job Oscar!

I have indoor tonight so if my buddy's there with his wheeled floats I'll grab you that snapshot you asked for.

Cheers,
J

Re: Sport Cub S

Horizon has the camera's on sale for black Friday weekend but I don't have a 5.8G receiver to run it on. Anybody know of one that is compatible with Fatshark frequencies?

Fatshark = 5740, 5760, 5780, 5800, 5820, 5840, 5860MHz

Ah I guess I answered my own question when I found that HK sells these cute 32 channel recievers with a built-in DVR recorder for 45$ ($42 for platinum members)
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=64805

So I ordered one. It will handle both the fatshark 5.8 frequencies ending in the naught's, as well as all the other brands that end in the 05's.

Re: Sport Cub S

Sorry Max... I saw your post fly by in email and meant to logon and reply, but forgot.

Anyway, yes, the Horizon stuff is all on Fatshark frequencies. That said, the BOSCAM and Skyzones typically support all 32 channels and work fine picking up the Fatshark frequencies.

I use Skyzone goggles with my Horizon FPV cam and I've also tuned in via my Boscam vRx.

Works great.

Cheers,
J
