Re: Wairwolf

Thanks Guys
It was fun to make - Lots of work in the end.
Had a couple of interesting technical problems with the heli. Still can't get all the low RPM startup vibration out of it - but it is close.
Cheers

Wairwolf

Thanks - Travis is amazing with the airbrush.
The Airwolf / Werewolf / Wairwolf thing got me thinking last fall. I looked around on line and it did not seem anyone else had done it. I ordered one of the blue and white body kits because they were on sale. Took three months to find Travis - ended up going to tattoo shops and talking to the guys (not my regular hang-outs!) after Kijiji ads didn't work out.
The original concept for it is a green werewolf (below) I found online from this picture archive
Right from the start I knew the canopy had to become the eyes. You can see them when it is flying from 100's of feet out. The Body design of the original is incredible - lends itself to this.

Building a Coffin for it now to transport it. Picture soon.

Almost lost the heli on the first flight. Stupid mistake - fortune favours a fool
maybe

Wairwolf - Mobile Apartment

Probably spent more time on this then I did the heli
or not. A wairwolf has to have a suitable place to hang out.

Re: Wairwolf

That is one sick Heli congrats. I would never fly it though lol.. It would be under a glass top in my living room, and I know my wife would kill me.
