I got the "Laps Free" software running on the new timing system. This should help a lot. No more guess work in trying to setup the heats and finals. It does it all for you. If you want to check it out go to http://www.rctiming.com/

If you have any suggestions/comments please let me know.

We'll be able to test it out at the next race on Sunday the 15th.

I wasn't able to attend the races on Sunday so they used the previous software. I had to leave on a business trip.

Define "Pylone" racing? Do you mean a road course created with Pylons? Anything type of racing that you need to cross a start/finish line would work.

Ahh. That I am not sure. I don't know. I know that the cable loop that the transponder has to cross has to be 40cm apart. But I'm not sure at what distance (ie: how close you need to be to the cable). There is a setting on the system to adjust the "gain". But again, I'm not sure if this would work for non-surface. This is a question you might need to ask KO Propo.

Actually it would be kind of neat!!!

Think about .... if you could only be say .... 12" from the cable, that would make for some awesome low passes at the Start/Finish Line ..... not to mention some awesome CARTWHEELS as well!!
