I too have a mail service across the Quebec/New York border the only time I deal with UPS is have it shipped and held there till I drive out (45min) and pick up.I usually accumulate packages and pick up once a month.I just placed an order for wood at National balsa shipping to my house would be $167.43 usd not including broker fees probably another $40.00 or $50.00 were not including taxes of course with UPS.I shipped it to my US mailing add. and it cost me $20.67 plus ($2.00 fee for mail servics). So if any of you who live within a reasonalbe driving distance from any US-CAN border I would look into finding a mailling service.

I my defence I had hope to educate some of you, if you had not been aware of this charge and yes $27 dollars was taxes but that another issue 13% paradise pay.

I never use UPS always FedEx is much better service less excuses when the screw up. Most of the time I ship P1 high value aircraft part with no issue.

Just make sure you are clear on your shipping instruction. I thought I was
Hard job competing with gravity.
