Re: Safety

I have a friend that was showing off how much power his new electric conversion
was putting out in his garage .60 size equivalent in a PT40 trainer
he placed the airplane on top of his car and the transmitter on his work bench and forgot to turn the power off on the plane and transmitter
at 4:01 in the morning ( alarm surv. system )
the tx batteries failed and the plane motor went to full power
quite a mess, destroyed plane, burnt motor, busted lawn chair and damaged harwood stair
motor was smoking when he got to it.
again, always be safe when handling high power devices

Re: Safety

13 stitches to my right hand last year - excellent safety reminder. Everytime I look down at the permanent Frankenstein scar on the back of my hand I think prop safety.

Use extreme caution and vigilance around your props. They show no mercy.
