There should be lots of sources for the EC3 connectors. I bought mine at the LHS, since they also are heavy into cars.

I swapped all my Deans out for them, as they are MUCH easier to connect and separate. Deans were a pain.
I know there's money in aviation........I put it there!

you can order them with the batteries or pick them up at your local hobby shop.
first you need to figure out what connectors are on your ESC and match them up to your battery ones. if you have 6 batteries and one plane then it just makes sense to change your ESC connector than do 6 batteries.

Ok, i called nitroplanes today, and they told me the connector for the ESC is a "banana 4.0mm", doesn't seem like it's in the same series with for e.g TX60/JST-XH/EC3 etc. any one knows how does this work?
