A full size Fairchild 24, built in 1947, restored in the late '70's, and a past Grand Champion at Oshkosh Air Venture. (I can still feel the thrill of getting a ride in this airplane. Sweet!)

And, finally (last one from last season) the one and only Lance Campbell and his huge twin turbine SR-71 prototype. This was a test flight for the new scale landing gear (there were no members of the public in attendance.) I believe Lance has since flown the prototype with the scale inlet spikes, which were not ready at the time this video was shot. At the time, Lance mentioned that he had begun work on the second airframe, which would be all decked out with proper hatches, paint and scale details, taking everything learned from this prototype.
