Hobbyzone Aerial Drop Module

Has anyone successfully modded it to use with a different 6 channel system? ie DX6i?
I have found other topics on the combat module but none for the drop module. Would like to mod it to work with the Corsair that I have the DX6i installed.

Re: Hobbyzone Aerial Drop Module
As I understand it, the X-port is not compatible with regular servo signals.
A regular servo uses a 20ms (approx) frame length with a 1.25 to 1.75ms pulse. 1.5ms is neutral position.
The X-Port uses a 1ms frame length with a 0.16ms pulse:
One fellow has made an adapter to interface between the two, not exactly cheap though as it's produced in very small numbers:
For a drop module, I would think it's just easier to rig a small 9g servo and run it off the gear or flaps channel.
