Re: Great hobbies lipos

Thanks for the heads up. I phoned about buying a Cessna yesterday and would have bought what was there but then he threw in the US dollar markup and all of a sudden Hobby King is looking much better. So I'm going to make an order today

Re: Great hobbies lipos

hmmm......but in the actual shop, their prices are pretty much the same in canadian funds as they are listed in USD funds on their the store they do have much better prices on many things.....for example; those little portable cell/voltage checkers that other shops cell for 15$, he sells for a reasonable 5$.
I also saw one of their RTF art tech jets fly today by someone who has never flown jets...although he is a good rc pilot with prop planes. The plane flew very nicely and slowed down well.....but it wasnt very fast (seemed good for learning) and you need to land it with plenty of battery left.....ahuuumm...

Anyway, it was good to see this under 200$ kit fly very nicely and look good. I have always been interested, but didnt know if i could fly them or not.....this looked like it would be a good starting point for edf.

Re: Great hobbies lipos

Great Hobbies lipo's!?! Re-badged cheap packs at 5 times the cost?? Not in a million years!!!!!!!!!!

Do some research and you'll see quality lipo's are well worth the investment. ie Hyperion G3, and TP Pro Power.
