Looking forward to winds from the nw at 24 kph at strathcona science park @ 1:00.

Update: Very nice day with winds of up to 30 kph. Flew both the fling and merlin for 3 hrs

That is beautiful, did you glass a foam version or is this some carbon version. Nice colour scheme, I would be afraid to scratch it flying that.

Hi Dan, The coating is polycrylic, brush it on with a foam brush and it flattens out by itself, Dries quick, cleans up with water and no smell.



Did my funjet with the same stuff gives it a nice glassy shell and covers over the little bumps and dips and fills in cracks.

Oh yes I used the stuff myself on a funjet, I just did not like the weight it added to my plane. In the picture the glider looked just like glass finish. What is the all up weight on that ready to fly?

Hi Dan
How heavy is you're funjet ? Weight on the sloper around 7 ounces. The polycrylic drops a huge amount of weight after it has fully cured.

The glider event at CARFF is listed that is a good one.
Unfortunately my sister planned her wedding day for the 28 and will not change it for me to go to glider day. So i will have to miss it
