I attached the aft section of the fuse to the forward section using foam2foam, you may notice the bits of tape running the length of the fuse. I bumped the fuse and cracked the seam for the inner entry cut for the hotwire loose. As it was sitting upright, I applied some Super Phatic from the top and let it run all the way down the seem and then taped it up tight.
While all that lot was bonding, I glued the oil cooler fairing together, made up the wing mounting plates and drilled the wing mounting dowel holes. Once that was ready, I sharpened the 1/4" dowels and pushed them into the foam. The plate was bonded with SP & the dowels were glued in place with Foam2Foam.
Next the belly fairing was bonded together and the 1/8" ply mounting plate was glued in place.
After the glue has dries the sides of the plate will be sanded to match the contour of the belly pan.
Whew! Finally caught up! Now I'm waiting for the retracts and need to get that 1/4" ply before that I need to get a good quality bandsaw blade, it WAY overdue!
Gravity works. I've tested it......often!!!
