For PC, a simple editing program is what comes with windows, Windows Movie Maker. Very rudimentary but will suit most people who want to make simple you-tube videos of their planes in flight.

For serious movie editing, I use Adobe Premiere Pro. it is pretty $$, so although there is a newer version out there, I stick to what I have paid for- it does everything any profession movie editor needs, IMHO.

Re: Movie Editing Programs

Premiere is very good but expensive, and seems to do everything upside down and backwards, long learning curve, the elements version is ok and enough for most people, especially if you use photoshop for integration together. Vegas is much cheaper and more intuitive handles HD well but not mp4. For very basic editing I recently found a free MPEG Streamclip, handles mp4 very well, good converter, basic editing, tons of how-to videos on line about this program. For pictures you can use free Gymp2, photoshop clone also very good.
