Flatana Maiden Intime For 24 Weekend

The weather got nice enough for a maiden flight of a Great Planes, Flatana.
Took to the air well, not much to trim it out. The 1500 mA 11.1v LIPO was a bit big, but the prop and motor combo would give 15 minute flight, with 60% throttle. The BL2208-14, 1450Kv with a 30 Amp ESC would drive the 10x3.5 prop, and blow the dust, and all the other stuff off my work bench.
I will try to get a couple of 900-1200 mA LIPOs for a 10 minute flight time should be ok for each battery.
The design of this plane is ok if you like to build them, but instructions were poor. The big problem with this plane is the way they want you to push the turn-points over the carbon rod as the hinges for the control surface. This makes them sloppy, and stresses the plastic. If you slide them on to the rod and then glue them in place they work better and will last longer.
