I'll trade/send you one of the matching twin TD.049s I have for a KK NV.
I only need one.
The 'Matching Td's' were for a C/L Profile Scale Mosquito. Back in the late 60's/early 70s.. Then Dad got me a "Heathkit' radio I learned to solder with...
My TDs and other Cox.049 engines hauled up at least 1lb of radio gear...
My favourite was/is the Dave Thornburg Honker.
I've collected enough newfangled lightweight R/C gear here on RCC to really enjoy my Cox engines....
(I'm attempting to get KlassCote to sponsor my 15% Nitro fuelproofing.)
If in doubt, I still have half a Quart of Sig clear buterate....
O.K. , I admit.... It is tough to outdo AJC. I'll try.
Hey Andrew, I have an AAM (American Aircraft Modeller) magazine from the early 70's.
It has plans for a 'Cox piston reset tool'.
It was my project in grade 9 machine shop. I got close to 90%.
My Mother keeps it over the mantle as a 'keepsake'
It still works great !
