Re: MT70 Twin - Anyone have one?

I had the MT-57. It ran well until I had the crankcase develop a crack.
It was a ver1 motor. Jeff at ThunderboltRC did the warranty and replaced the crankcase with a newer version.
The motor has been working like a champ since.
The MT-80 isn't quite living up to claims or expectations.
As for the 70 twin?........Maybe check out Flying Giants or RCU to see what those guys are saying.

Re: MT70 Twin - Anyone have one?

I bought the MT-35, same cylinder as the MT-70. The quality of the engine was very poor and there were many quality control issues with it . I ended up returning it for a refund but I was out my shipping $. The MT-70 and 35 will be nice engines once and if the quality issues get resolved but for now I would recomend holding off on buying any MT product untill their quality control gets under control.
