What works for me is to open the throttle all the way, put your finger over the carb opening and turn it over by hand until you feel the fuel on your finger. Then close the throttle to the idle position and flick it over a few more times, stick on the glow igniter and give it a quick turn over. I always use my hand and it usually starts right away. If not repeat the priming again. Also my engine is side mounted, so if your engine is upright you might not feel the fuel right away. I also noticed that if there is enough fuel you can hear it if you spin the prop back and forth between your fingers. Being an amateur this may not be the right thing to do but it works for me..

ahh cool i was just wondering how easy the fuel gets too the engine. But with my cowling, it covers most of the carb opening..I mean i can see it,but getting my finger in too plug it ant going too happin..I guess ill just have too plug the end of the pipe instead,it'll still create back Pressure..

What goes up!!!....must come down!!!
