Im loving this gyro!...if you are in the market for a new gyro try this bad boy out. Im using it with a 9254 on a Rex600Nsp and this thing holds tight!! Is really small and easy to program. Just wanted to share...

Cheers

Re: GY520 Gyro

I agree - an outstandng gyro. When I got my first one I was amazed at the small size. And with the same servo, it works as well or better then the GY-611. But, unlike the 611, it can be used with any type of servo.

Re: GY520 Gyro

+1. I have it in my T500 (w/ S9257 servo) and it is so easy to set-up and holds the tail really well! It is even so tiny to place it anywhere in the heli.

Re: GY520 Gyro

WOW I rarely hear anything on this gyro. Nice to see people like it. I hear more on the spartan 760 I think it is!! Better than the 401 etc. Anybody has a word or experience with both of these IE Spartan and 520?

Re: GY520 Gyro

I use a GY502 on my one ES600 and a GY401 on my ES600, my ES500 has my Telebee on it. After going from the Telebee to a Futaba it was night and day, not that the Telebee is bad, still one of my favourite gyros,

The spartan is better in flight.

Re: GY520 Gyro

Both Spartan and the GY520 are great single axis gyros for sure. Seems with the FBL wars though that single axis gyros are not growing as much or demanded, BUT that brings down price, good for all us consumers!

Re: GY520 Gyro

Yeah jeez, what can you buy a v-bar for now ?
It's down around $300 isn't it ?
And the tail gyro in it is as good or better than the spartan.

Re: GY520 Gyro

I have been using GY611 for a few years and got a GY520 with BL251 last year. I think the GY520/BL251 actually works better than the GY611.

BTW, the 520 is in a Bergen Intrepid EB gasser. The 611 is in a 90 size Xcell.
