hey jet dudes...

Just rolled into home here in Timmins... 780 km and nearly 9 hours after leaving Wingham just after lunch. WOrth every ache in my legs and dollar spent of gas

I was quite sad, honestly, after packing up today and getting into the truck. The past few days were probably some of the absolute best flying I have participated in, ever - both with myself doing a ton of flying, and having as much fun spotting and also sharing my planes with others.

Wingham jets this year was absolutely awesome. You guys are a great bunch of people... probably some of the best I have met in the hobby in my many years flying.

As much as there are arguments & the odd heated discussions, etc here, it doesnt really matter. Getting together with you all to fly whatever brand plane, engine or radio - thats the BEST!

My only regret is that it will probably be a whole year before I can enjoy flying jets with you guys again.

Thanks for a great weekend, fellas!

if its got a wing or two and an engine - I like it!

Re: hey jet dudes...

Well Andrew, I have to say it was a real pleasure chatting with you again, it seems all the jet guys are a great bunch of friendly likeable guys that would bend over backwards for ya. It is really to bad we live such busy lives that we can only get together a few times a year, but I guess that is better than nothing! My hat goes off to Angus for all the hard work he has gone through in making Wingham's airport available to us and putting aside his busy life for us to all enjoy this event together...So thank you very much AGAIN Angus! and also too every one else envolved is making these events possible. It has been a great pleasure for me in both flying and chatting with every one. I am already looking forward to the next event when ever that may be. Hopefully at Chatham's Wings and Wheels event in July
Seem's all the time I can get is maybe once a month if I am lucky. So until we meet again Cheers!,
