High start tubing

Does anyone here know of a source for surgical tubing that is located in Canada?

I would like to buy a roll of 1/4 inch but don't want to get hosed on duty or shipping for something that should be pretty cheap.

The only places I have seen are selling it for physiotherapy and they seem to think it is made of gold.

My Home Hardware sells it by the foot off a roll. Yellowish orange in color.

Re: High start tubing

The blue latex tubing also called " theraband" is real nice stuff. But I haven't been able to find a source to order it online yet in Canada.....unless some larger London Drugs carry it?

Re: High start tubing

Take a look in the "yellow pages" for medical supply companies. That's where we used to get the tubing (and the medicinal grade castor oil)

Re: High start tubing

Whatever you do, avoid the plain beige-colored stuff. It doesn't have any coating to protect it from UV, and will wear out in no time. The beige stuff might be okay if you find some cheap enough that you don't mind replacing the tubing every 2 years.

Re: High start tubing

I purchase this at a local veterinary supplies store. I do not recall the cost.
