lipo cut off's

I'am new to lipos and plan to run them in a stock sv.I have just changed and added a water pick up for cooling.The batts are turnigy 5000mah 20c the charger is a venom pro.Can I get some info? First do I need a lipo cut off and if I do can you recomend a good one.Also what the best rate to charge these lipos would be and how long do you think it would take for them to charge.

The battery can be charged at a one C rate. i.e. 500mah=.5 amps / 1000mah=1.0 amps / 5000mah=5.0 amps ... Since the venom pro can charge at 5.0 amp with the right power supply, you may charge at 5.0 amps and it will take roughly an hour, but you should balance charge and it'll take just slightly longer.
A lipo cutoff is usually incorporated into the electronic speed controller with which you can (usually) program the cutoff voltage.
