I have stuck to the Turnigy ones from HobbyKing and also use their programming card as trying to program with the stick is beyond my mental capacity (Actually my patience as it never does what the translation of the Chinglish makes you think it is supposed to!) The process is almost random.

As for low end throttle - so far I have not had any issues with my DX7 except on a CX2 chopper where I needed to set sub-trim all the way down to get it to arm.

Still - frustration aside thank goodness for the cheap stuff - It allows me to afford the hobby!

Finally, I note you said that your pgm card did not work on your suspect esc. I also live in Newmarket so if you want to try mine let me know.

Hi Chris thanks for the offer but its Brad that lives in Newmarket. I live in Elmira just a wee bit to far to drive to borrow a program Card

Oops! Shoulda read more carefully! You're right - especially now with the HST on Gas!

BTW - This is the one I have and $6.95 it is a really worth it! Even shipping is only $3 or less than $5 if you want it registered. Of course one can always fill the cart and then justify the 3 day shipping if you are in a hurry

Re: Esc

Those program cards and ESC's are made by Hobbywing. They are also sold under the Turnigy Plush, Exceed RC - Volcano and a few other brand names.

I do not believe the HobbyKing SS are compatible with the Turnigy Programming Card. From what I understand, the SS series are re-branded Suppo ESC's. You can find manuals here:
