Failing eyesight, reflexes and nerve is prompting a go at the larger planes.
I am presently putting together a Hangar 9 Extra 260 (27%--78in)
Have a Taurus 52 installed!! Overkill for sure!!
Most of my reading on RC canada seem to recommend a 22-8,23-8 prop for general flying
At my age ,3D is interesting>> to watch other people doing it>
I inherited a bunch of props awhile back including a 22-10 cut down to a 20-10. Also have a couple of 20-8-14 which I believe to be progressive pitch.
Would these do, or better with the ones mentioned above.
The gas tank in this plane is shown as placed inside the engine box. This places the whole 22 oz of fuel in front of the CofG.
Any problem putting it somewhere else in the fuse?? There's still enough room to bathe the cat in there!!
Also, since the carb will pump. I should be able to put the tank wherever?? and at whatever height??
It would fit nicely below the wing tube which would put it on the CofG.
Plse feel free to offer up your 2 cents!!!!
