Not to try and get you to buy one, but one thing I loved that came on the nexstar was the air breaks/flaps. I learned on my own on private land, the plane would just crawl through the sky so slowly. But then and again, I practiced for 26 hours on the sim first before my first flight, ran the engine a few times, idled it for a bit then checked to see if it would die or run when given full throttle.
Had lots of confidence in that plane.
I would say any trainer would do, but to get the basics down, get the speed breaks and install on any plane, it really allows the plane to fly slow and give you time to correct yourself if you make an error.
Nothing like the smell of castor in the morning!!!!!
