Balance point on Mustang ARF

So the instructions say the balance point is 2 5/8 back. With the mustang the leading edge is not straight it tapers back to the tips. Is this measured from the tip or closer to the fuselage.
Using the Great planes balancer, and obviously this stays close to the fuselage, so do I mark at the tips run a straight line between them and then balance there. This mark would be 3/4 inch farther back, the plane balances good at this point but with the balancer set at 2 5/8 the plane is tail heavy. So set the balancer at 2 5/8 or 3 3/8 or maybe midway between?
All my other planes have had straight leading edges so have never had to worry about this before.
Using this calculator I found on line , the point comes out in the middle of the two marks.
Ant ideas?

Re: Balance point on Mustang ARF

Hi I have the great plane balancer and just set it were the cg is in your manual for the mustang and as it is a mustang, you must flip it over and it sould be tight to fus just make sure that the ruler runs parallel to the fus that is it, that is what i did with my mustang I hope this helps.....
